The weekly American Cosmo Girl blog post #2

Ciao Tutti!

This week I read Devil's Game (Reapers MC #3), and Reaper's Stand (Reapers MC #4), both by Joanna Wylde.  I enjoyed them very much!  Five stars to each.

Next, I did a buddy read with three other girls.  We read Dirty Bad Strangers (Dirty Bad, #3), by Jade West.  OMG people!  It was dirty, bad shocking- but that's what we want sometimes when we buddy read.  It was so fun, but I didn't rate the book.  I enjoyed it, but it was so crazy I just couldn't decide what to do!  I do recommend buddy reads though!  After that, I read The Queen, by Tiffany Reisz.  I received an ARC through NetGalley, and will be writing a formal review very soon.  It is fantastic, to say the least!

Recently, I read On the Island, by Tracey Garvis-Graves.  I love "shipwreck" stories, and it is one of the best.  I've also read Surviving Raine, by Shay Savage and now I want more!  Trascendence, also by Shay Savage is not a shipwreck themed book, but the heroine is displaced, and it has a similar feel to it.  Do you have any suggestions?

Two more questions I have for you- first, how do you feel about strange character names?  I mean, as Shakespeare's famous Juliet argues, "What's in a name? that which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet."  Yes, I really wanted to quote Shakespeare! More than that, do strange character names distract you?  My second question is about "book etiquette."  Do you review books you do not finish because you think they are awful?  Do you have a dnf shelf on Goodreads?
I'd like to close this week again with a few pictures, and a little more Italian practice--
Ciao tutti! xoxo
